HC-ME-001ETHERNET/DALLAS 1-WIRE CONVERTER MODULE

HC-ME-001 is a gateway connecting a network of home automation devices on a Dallas 1-Wire bus to an Ethernet LAN. A factory-set serial number (S.N. 0XXXXX) uniquely identifies the module. Locally, the module can operate as a simple LAN/1-Wire converter for module programming, using UDP ports 3000 and 3001. In Cloud mode, it contacts the remote server, identifies itself and establishes a TCP connection on port 3000 and on a second TCP port dynamically assigned by the server. Cloud mode supports two different servers (primary and secondary), specified by DNS name or IPv4 address. Cloud mode establishes connections without opening ports on the modem/firewall. Automatic DHCP configuration adapts to the local network for plug-and-play operation. For security reasons, the module does not support HTTP, FTP or Telnet. It can only be configured and managed using our proprietary Windows software.
