SPORTS AND LEISURE CENTRES
Sport and leisure.
Building systems working together.
Football, five-a-side football, pickleball, padel, tennis and beach volleyball, alongside swimming pools, gyms and fitness studios: every space has different schedules, environmental conditions and access arrangements. Coordinating building systems helps managers prepare spaces for activities, control energy use and provide comfortable playing conditions throughout the day.
From a single court to large facilities, we manage lighting, motorised openings, access, climate control and alarms. Our experience includes complex centres such as Seven Infinity and Quanta Club. Together with managers and installers, we define which functions to connect and how to make them easy to use.
From courts to shared spaces
- Lighting: coordinate lighting on courts, in gyms, on pathways and in shared areas with usage schedules. Light sensors take actual light levels into account, avoiding unnecessary switching without compromising visibility during play.
- Opening and closing: coordinate motorised openings included in the installation with usage requirements and start-of-day and end-of-day operations.
- Access control: organise entry to the centre's different areas, distinguishing spaces and access arrangements for users and staff.
- Heating and playing comfort: use temperature sensors to regulate heating on indoor courts and in other spaces according to actual conditions and activity schedules. Prepare spaces for players' arrival and limit operation when they are not in use.
- Alarms and notifications: bring useful information together for the manager and coordinate alarm functions with the rest of the installation, as defined in the project.
- Supervision and controls: maintain an overview of managed functions and intervene for maintenance, events or changes of plan.
LESS WASTE, MORE COMFORT
Bring energy savings into play.
Lighting empty courts and running heating longer than needed add to operating costs. We connect usage schedules, temperature sensors and light sensors to provide heat and light when needed, with suitable conditions for play.
Efficient management of lighting and, above all, heating generates savings that help repay the automation investment. We assess the financial return based on the installation, usage hours and energy costs, alongside the benefit of simpler management.
For players, the aim is tangible: a court that is ready, well lit and at a comfortable temperature. A quality experience, with attention to operating costs for managers.
From booking to a ready court.
We are a Playtomic Integration Partner. The integration connects court bookings to building-system management, making the playing schedule part of the centre's operating logic.
Lighting lead-in and switch-off delays, together with booking-linked access codes in enabled configurations, help coordinate court use. Heating control is defined during project design, taking activity schedules and sensor data into account.
Automation, with room for intervention
Sports and leisure centres also need to handle exceptions, maintenance and unscheduled activities. We agree on automatic rules and the ways managers can intervene, keeping them in control of operations.
Before defining a proposal, we check spaces, connections and loads to be controlled. We start with the operations most useful to the centre, with a project proportionate to its use and budget.
